Tasting Note

The freshly ground sawdust aromas of American oak barrels are the first notes; a variety of fruits are robustly manifested following that. Cherry, red currant and crushed cranberries with a few plums, ending with fruit and mushrooms. Drink soon or over the next few years.

Wine Description

This wine is representative of classic Rioja Alta wine: brilliant, ruby-red color with a brick rim; elegant, harmonious aromas with hints of aging and varietal notes; fine and well-structured in the mouth with good acidity and polished tannins; very well balanced wih complex finish and a delicate, persistent fragrance. This wine will develop well in the bottle.
