Tasting Note

The character of lees aging shows in the toasted nut, slightly biscuit, character of the nose. The mouth exhibits a dried apple note, with some cherry and citrus, and a soft and gentle finish. Drink soon, though a few years are not too much to ask of this wine.

Wine Description

The Cava exhibits small bubbles with a persistent crown with a bright, pale-yellow color with golden reflections. The nose is intense with fruit aromas of green apple and slight aromas of aging, and the palate shows good structure with a good balance of flavors, persistent and smooth. The wine is great with seafood, salads or as an aperitif.

Located in the heart of Sant Sadurni’ d’Anoia, Vilarnau is the eighth Bodega in the D.O.Cava in terms of Cava production. The wines and Cavas transmit the modern personality of the winery: up-to-date, elegant and minimalist, without renouncing the tradition and origin of Vilarnau.
