Tasting Note

A higher expression than we have yet seen from Ramon Bilbao, this shows smoky, toasty new French oak in the nose. The mouth is sufficiently fruited for all that oak, nonetheless. The finish shows a great deal of evolution yet to come, with long tannins; at least three more years ought to be given to the wine.

Wine Description

Dense yet lithe, this red shows lively cherry and orange peel flavors, deepened by loam, soy and anise notes. Not showy, but complete, the wine drives through to the savory finish.
