Wine Description
The clone of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) that is cultivated in all of the plots belonging to Bodegas Cepa 21 is selected from 100-year-old vines in Pesquera de Duero. Young vines are grafted with cuttings from Tinto Fino (Tinta del Pais), the purest clone of Tempranillo in Ribera del Duero region.
About the Winery
Bodegas Cepa 21 is one of the most renowned wineries in Ribera del Duero. The Moro family, along with some of its closest friends, founded this acclaimed winery, which manages to combine the traditional and the avant-garde on the same site in a dual commitment to quality wine and wine tourism. With a great understanding of the origin and composition of the soils, the winery is able to take better care of the environment, the wines and, above all, the soils themselves.
